Thread: Aftermarket MAF's and tuning..

    Default Aftermarket MAF's and tuning..

I have a customers car in which we just finished another head/cam setup. The customer has an aftermarket MAF which typically I do not promote. What considerations need to be made when tuning with an aftermarket MAF? What exactly do these manufactures do with these new MAFS to alter performance? I would think that after a SD tune if I enable the MAF and log BEN's and do the normal procedures, I just scale it accordingly. No??

You are correct Howard. Just scale it like the other you have done.
