I have an e38 and tcm and they are from different vehicles. I was wondering if I can use 1 vin license to license both? Or do I have to buy 2 credits? They are from different vin numbers. Thanks

1 VIN license licenses the PCM/ECM and TCM seperately. I have tuned a few PCMs and have used the TCM license slots for other vehicles. VIN doesnt matter with EFILive at ALL. The controller's serial number is.

How do I do this? This e38 and t42 tcm are in a project ly6 car. At first I only had the e38, I got I lincense for it to take the vats out. I recently got ahold of a t42 4l80e tcm and want to make changes in the tcm tune and its telling me that I need a license for it. So do I need 2 licenses?
I just figured it out thanks!
Pretty easy, the software will prompt you to license the first time you go to flash it. Simply say yes and it will license it. It will NOT use 2 licenses, it will use the TCM slot of the 1st license.
