Default Is it possible to log the trany shifts and engine at the same time??

I am having issues with the engine tuning around the shift points. if I flat foot it from a stop it will miss or skip just before the shift. I can't tell what is going on because I can't see the shifts and the converter lock.

    Thanks, Rick

Yes, but only via BBL on a V2. The V8 Scan tool will have this for pass through logging, but in the meantime you need to BBL with your V2.

    Thanks for the info Erik
I thought I would ask before I wasted a lot of time with trial and error.
Now is that with the new update that just came out for the V8?I don't think I have the one installed.
While I have you do you know anything about setting up 3rd gear start that a lot of the sled pullers are using?

    Thanks, Rick

All versions of V8 have had the V2 BBL stuff (going on 2 years now I believe). The latest pre release and now RC1 have the beta version of the scan tool, BUT pass through logging has NOT been enabled yet. So you have to use your V2 until further notice.

i was over on the BBL forum to get some information on how to do it and saw a thread on making up a new cable to be able to log with the new version of V7 and V8.
What is this all about?? Do I need to do this?

You need to update your V7.5 and V8 software to the latest RC1 versions (HERE. Then refer to this thread that joecar made to assist with this: Setting up a FS V2 from Scratch
