Default Looking for a little advice

I am comfortable with tuning but looking for some advice for economy and tow tuning.

If I understand it right for economy I would want to lower the timing a little to keep EGT's down and there for running lower boost. Am I off on that?

Also for towing is it the same thing in the mid range but add a little timing in the lower parts to get the turbo to spool?

Slightly backwards...lower timing to spool and higher for Eco.
