Probably corrupted by TIS during a dealer update, not much that can be done unfortunately if you have already tried the ALT Keys option.
I no longer monitor the forum, please either post your question or create a support ticket.
I worried about that.. so basically need different ecm then? if so what needs to be done with a different used ecm to make it work with the truck :( thanks for the help..

Disconnect the batteries for 30 minutes, then reconnect them and try to pull the tune with the V8 software. I know I have ran into the bootloader error with my own LB7 on more than one occasion with the V7.5 software, but the V8 normally goes through.

I do see that I have dsp5 tune and that OS matches the gm OS for this truck.. but im guessing it wont let me flash either let alone flash over
You NEED the stock tune to start with, TRUST ME on this one. Your other tune may work, then again it could disable your power windows, locks, shut your A/C off, no cruise, and a host of other issues could occur by putting the wrong tune file into a 03-05 truck.

well I got a used ecm out of a 03 and put it in and read the stock tune in that ecm just fine.. OS ended up being the exact same except the speedo calibration number.. so I changed the vin and it starts and no security problemsthanks guys but what could be different in the speedometer system? old speed id # was 15076393 new was 15076392
I had my truck reflashed because i didnt have the stock tune and the GM tech was having issues reflashing it because i had an aftermarket radio so he had to install his stock radio so he could finish reflashing my truck and my truck is saying the same thing now as yours was hotrod87. So the only fix to this issue is buying a new ECM???
