    Default E67 A6 CTS-V does not shift 6th under wot

    I have been doing quite a bit of digging online and I cant find in the Trans or the ECU tune ware to allow the trans to shift 6th at wot. I know other tuners have made it happen. Not sure if maybe its a HP tuners feature?.

    I just spent hr or so on the dyno playing with the 5-6 6-5 shift stuff since it looked waked compared to the other gears but no luck on getting it to shift.

    I am planing on doing a rolling 1/2mi race and I am pretty sure I will need 6th gear for that.

    Ok, I havent tried this on an A6 yet, but have a few ideas.

    D1001-6, D1108, D1109, D1128, D1129, D1148, D1149, D1168, D1169, D1188, D1189 all set to the correct MPH/KMH for 5->6 (stock is like 300+mph at WOT, wont happen).

    Check values for D1218, D1219, D1228, D1229, D1238, D1239 and make sure they're all set to something achievable.

    D9411, not sure if it will prevent a shift if the torque limit is exceeded.

    D9420 needs to be adjusted for 5th and 6th gear.

    Let us know if these are all set correctly for your application. Again, I havent had to tune an A6 to do this yet but these are the tables Id start with.

    Looks like I adj most of that, but the TQ limit which I think might be the ticket since its set at 0 for 5th and 6th at 3000rpm. I would think it would be just 6th though not 5th also?

    I had gone through all the wot and part throttle tables making the 5-6 and 6-5 stuff look better. Based all my # and Splits off the 4-5shifts but 60kph or higher which should allow a shift well before the 285KPH revlimt.

    Random peace of info win I was at 5.5k in 5th I kept hitting the 6 shift and it would flash the shift light at me.

    I will try the TQ settings out tomorrow I hope and report back.

    Ok I got her back on again and still no luck:(. TQ tables all set to 1200 all shift points for Wot, Part, limp set to points that I think should let 6th gear happen. Even if I click 6th and it will down shift 5th as soon as I go past 20-30% throttle.
