Revision, 6l80e will not rev past 5k in gear, no up-shift at wot.

Yo EFI live,

I'm re-posting this, assuming I may have given too much info before.
We have a 2011 5.3 boosted with a spot on (part throttle) 6l80 tune.
I can rev the truck in park and neutral beyond 5k (6k limiter) but it will not rev beyond 5k in gear and it is refusing to upshift unless its at 80% or less throttle.

I can lower all my shift speeds (tested it) and it will shift fine @ 5k. What would stop the engine from revving past 5k in gear?I'm stumped.

It might be something in the ECM tune.

Hi , I know this is a super old post but I'm.currently having the same problem with a l98/6l80e conversion into to a land rover , stand on throttle it will kick back gears in till it gets to 5000rpm and just sit there?, did you sort the problem underground?

Make a new thread and post your tunes and datalog of the issue.
