Lightbulb Tool to help tune A6 shift points

Hey guys, I spend heaps of time on here reading and learning...
Time to give a little back
This spreadsheet was inspired by another tool/post: http://forum.efilive.com/showthread....4-shift-points
So credit to SSpdDmon for the original idea and share.

I created this in OpenOffice but have saved it in Excel format - should work just fine but let me know if there are any problems or if you want a copy in the OpenOffice document format.

I havent quite finished all of the planned features and I have not thoroughly checked the tool.
So all reports of errors, suggestions and feedback welcome.
Happy to add more to this if required.

    Cheers and Happy Easter,

    Chris

Thanks Chris, downloaded and checked it out for a sec!

Ive seen another 6spd trans tuning spreadsheet floating around the "other" site, no idea how it compares to this.

Appreciate the work though, thanks for giving back!

Hi guys, thanks for checking it out.
Here is an updated version that pretty much includes all of the planned features.
Now you can include & calculate tyre data and shift points by speed and rpm.

Hard to describe everything it does... feedback would be good.

    Cheers, Chris

I like it Chris, unfortunately I have one tuned a few A6s as most of my tunes are for A4s. I just downloaded your updated version, the effective gear calc is pretty cool! I like how all of the data is used throughout the different areas, I happened to adjust the tires size and switch to the GearCALC page...it was updated which I didnt see the first time! I like how the gear changes are graphed as well, I know this didnt just take an hour in Excel.

Awesome chart Chris...I made a some changes to make it US standard friendly and it helped me transform my truck's shifting and drivability as if it were a whole new truck! Thanks for sharing.
