software download not working!!!
I just bought this computer today and I'm trying to download the software to windows 8 and all I get is error requires elevation: win32 error 740. I have looked at the support and nothing is working its on administrator and I did change the UCA to not notify me and still will not download. Can someone please help?
got it figured out. guess there is something wrong with the cd and I ended up downloading from the internet.
Did you download/install RC2...?
Lol sorry I have no idea what RC2 is....the CD that came with the v2 didn't/wouldn't work,nothing would, I tried everything that efilive said to do on there website, nothing so I ended up downloading from the website and no problems doing that so....I've been playing around with it learning as I go.Originally Posted by joecar

Not yet. I live where you can't get internet and the only internet I have now is my phone and I don't trust using my phone for internet tethering because I'm sure it has so viruses so... probably will download tonight at my girlfriends house.
ok I have the rc2 in the v7.5 and v8 downloaded. Do I need a tune to set up a FSV2 from scratch? I was a idiot and did not save my factory tune off my duramax.
will this FSV2 set up be just for tuning my truck or will I be able to tune other vehicles?
