LMAO....Disregard.. In the heat of the 102 swap battle I found 2 issues.
1: Even though there looked like alot of room between the intake and water pump I have found that the intake moves quite a bit when torqued down. Further grinding needed tomorrow.
2: Some dummy did not plug the MAP sensor in.....
Hello all. I have been an absent member for a long while now due to putting my TA on the back burner a few years back to handle some long term family issues. During that time some new parts collected in the attic over time and this is the spring to jump back into enjoying my car. It seems I have forgotten alot of what I learned here tuning for heads/cam/LS6 intake and ported stock TB and alot has seemed to change in the EFILive tuning world.
On to the problem.
I have recently installed a 232/238 cam and FAST 102/102 intake TB combo that will not hold idle to begin the tuning process. Old cam was 231/237 on lazy lobes and intake/TB were LS6/Ported stock TB. I don't believe cam is different enough to keep it from idling and the problem lies with the huge increase to the 102 setup. Can anyone help with just getting this thing to start and idle long enough to get some logs to fine tune the idle and move on from there? The MAF was ditched long ago and have been SD for years.
Thanks in advance
Shawn
