will a dealer reflash change an OS and or calibration? or do they just reflash you with the same file you already have in the truck?

what CAN happen if you use a different OS and or calibration in your truck?

can you change a calibration or OS simply by changing it with efi live the same way you can change the VIN? will that screw anything up? will it even change anything or is it just the title you are changing?

dealer reflash is a calibration change with same os, tech authority gives list of cal changes when you down load from their site. you can change os systems effectively, 035, 807, 809 interchange quite well. i have found the 035 system to need more tuning with a heavy truck or tow rig. cab & chasis tunes i have found to be more on their own, like swapping in a 035 system to a 235ah. had to tune the 235ah to make it work. down load from tune file, modify, change vin & blow file in. 807 & 809 seem to work best for me
