Scanner set up query?

Having an issue here I hope someone can resolve, I'm using BBL and have loaded all my PIDS needed, I run 2x NGK AFX WB02's, I do a log file then go into 7.5 scan load it up but then have to select the NGK and BEN PIDS Manually ignoring the ctrl N prompt each time, it becomes a bit of a pain if it's a large log as it has to replot each PID selected...

I'm sure it's something basic I'm doing wrong... :(
(and yes I feel like a tool having to ask for help on this)

Part B!

Instead of starting another thread I thought I'd post this here!

I have 2x NGK/AFX WB02's in my car, after just about a full day of "fiddling" with a huge amount of help from one of the guys here in Australia we've come to the conclusion that getting 2xBEN's to work is a bit more of a hassle than it's worth, another idea came to me as I was heading to bed so I figured I'd ask here as one of the Guru's may have an answer.

Is it possible to create a custom PID to average both WB's into a single BEN?

Here are my Options file and my calc_pids file we worked on today.

Ian,

You can create a pid to average the two bens, something like this: "({CALC.BEN_AFX1}+{CALC.BEN_AFX2})/2"... (note that you're missing CALC.BEN_AFX2).

BTW: make sure to add at least 2 blank lines at the end of your calc_pids.txt file.


Also note:

I see you define your own NGK wideband AFR pid... is there any reason you can't use the predefined one...?

If you can use the predefined AFR pid, then your lambda pid will be simply "{CALC.AFR_NGK1}/14.5"... (and similar for wideband 2).

Chris set it up to show 14.7 for the 98 fuel I run most of the time, we spent hours screwing around with all this and no matter what we did we couldn't get it to use both BEN's.
