    Default full BBL support for newer controllers?

    In what state of support is BBL for the newest controllers? Seems I can only BBL T76 PIDS on my '13 Buick Verano T. I have not been able to select and log E39A PIDS.

    Is it because I'm doing it wrong again?

    Just select it as E39 and you should be fine, I can see everything has been defined.

    Hmm, I realize that I am way behind in my understanding of BBX. This has become #1 priority as these days I am trying to do things right if possible.

    I was unable to select any E39 or E39A PIDS, this was while connected to the vehicle with the laptop and in S&T. In addition, it "glitched" - as in it gave me the option to select T76 PIDS into the V2 sometimes, but more often it remained blank. I tried clicking on every single thing on the screen.

    Am I even in the right application? What I am trying to accomplish is a nice BBL with mostly engine PIDS to see what my tunes are doing.

    Please help me get up to speed as the days of pass through and V7 are all but gone!

    These links show how-to pics (from an older version of V8 S&T):
    You basically have to do this:
    - install the latest V7/V8 build versions;
    - flash the latest firmware into V2;
    - edit BBx config (Scan: edit/add pidlists for your controllers; Tune: add entries for your controllers);
    - save BBx config and do Program All to V2.

    These are my first BBL files, all just cruising. Some good data but I was unable to select and E39 PIDs that I wanted directly. Will try again.

    Just to be clear, can I program / set up the entire BBL for the vehicle without being connected to it? Or must the V2 be hooked up to the car to see which PIDs are valid?

    Yes, you can set up entire BBx without being connected (you select the ECM/TCM controllers).

    If some pids are not valid, then when you goto BBL log, V2 tells you some pids are invalid (and it asks you if you want to continue).
