Default Logging Issues freezing at around 2500-3000 RPM Cummins

I am having trouble with my v-2 logging. It logs fine until the engine gets to around 2500-3000 RPM, and then it freezes up until you go below that rpm again. The green and yellow lights go out when it does it. The engine is on a engine dyno with a harness I made up I have the com wires twisted and wrapped in foil they are comunication wired from a communication cable. I have looked all through my laptop for settings to disable active protection if it has it I cant find it. It really seems to be a frequency or vibration causing the loss in communication.

Any Ideas would be great. I dont think I can log without the laptop Being a Cumins ECM??

Yes, you can log in standalone mode. Use the EFILive V8 software version and the [F5: BBx] tab page to configure logging for your Cummins.

If you can log directly to the FlashScan V2 device without the log cutting out then the problem may be that the laptop you are using has a hard drive with a vibration/shock sensor that is being triggered. In that case try isolating the laptop from the vehicle/vibrations.
