A lot of people over here in OZ are disappointed with Ford Australia. On a Holden forum and concern is being expressed about how long our affordable RWD V8 Commodore will last. Their management of Ford Australia appears like they wanted manufacturing in Australia to fail.

Wait.... Say it ain't so... The union that was formed to get the employees higher (cough.. Exorbitant...) pay and keep them forever employed might actually be causing employees to loose their jobs????

    Heaven forbid...

Worth trying to see this documentary if you feel that way about auto unions (I'm not disagreeing with you BTW), it focusses on the hey days of the 60's to current and how they ended up where they are now.

Need official EFILive help, please go here.
For tuning support please post your questions on this forum (or other auto forums).
Sorry if I don't respond to your PM, don't take it personal.

I don't disagree they were a good thing when they started, just now it seems like they'll cut off their own nose to spite their face. Ill check that out when I get home

When the unions were formed, they were a great thing and did a lot to help protect employees. On paper unions serve a great purpose. Unfortunately unions have become just as greedy as the politicians and corporations.

Depends on who you work for, wifes non-union and they get abused all the time.
