Default Logged E40.SCALEDCORVE_DMA won't display in V7.5 Scan Tool

I logged the VE table look up PID in the V2 hand unit and confirmed seeing appropriate data displayed on the screen. When the file is reviewed in the Scan Tool, the data doesn't show up.

    Scan Tool V7.5.7 Build 230
Scan and Tune V8.2.2 Build 224
    FlashScan V2 Boot block 2.07.04, Firmware 2.07.39

Its a problem in the gm_enhanced.prn PID configuration file. The PID is called E40.SCALEDCORVE_DMA in that file.
Unfortunately the BBL firmware is saving the PID name as GM.SCALCORVE_M in the log file.

The conversion from SCALEDCORVE_DMA to SCALCORVE_M is handled in the sae_generic.txt file ok.
However, the GM prefix is not being converted to the E40 prefix by the BBL firmware prior to saving the PID name in the log file.

If you have a hex editor (like Hex workshop), you could edit the file and change the GM to E40 and then you will be able to see it.
Or just open/display the file using the V8 scan tool.

It will be fixed in the next update.

    Regards
    Paul

E40.SCALEDCORVE_DMA works in V7 scan tool these days, but now GM.APCYL_E40_DMA while logged on BBL on V2 will no longer validate when reviewing.

    Scan Tool V7.5.7 Build 233
Scan and Tune V8.2.2 Build 229
    FlashScan V2 Boot block 2.07.05, Firmware 2.07.45

Needed for a calcVET calc_pid file JOECAR set up for me.

Try updating to the latest version here: http://forum.efilive.com/showthread....te-Aug-06-2013

In V8, the E40 DMA PIDs were renamed from a GM prefix to an E40 prefix ,so GM.APCYL_E40_DMA is now E40.APCYL_E40_DMA in V7 and APCYL_E40_M in V8.
