    Default Breaking up in Boost Randomly

    Got my car set up on e-85 on 5 lbs of boost and im having an issue of breaking up, it will happen on one WOT pull and not on the next. AFR while its doing this looks good and so does the timing. it its like hitting a wall. Im logging the basic stuff but what else can i log to see whats going on? its a 3 bar sd (no Maf) OS with PE disabled for tuning. Ive read that logging CYL_DMA may lead to some insite.

    What does wideband show...?

    If PE is disabled, are you otherwise ensuring sufficient richnessl at load/WOT...?

    Can you verify that you get spark during the pull (there is a cheap tool that glows when placed next to plug wire).

    Is rail pressure ok...?

    Are you getting a MAF DTC (you should).

    Yes, log DYNCYLAIR and a few others.


    Can you post tune file and log files.

    SC or Turbo? What type fuel system and controller? What type of blow off or bypass valve?

    Need more info on the setup. What spark plugs are you using? What's the fuel system? Injectors? What is the injector duty cycle?
    2011 Cadillac Escalade ESV. BTR 218/224 .553/.553 110LSA. Built 6L80 with 278mm Circle D 2800 stall converter.

    found the issue, overly rich. The equasion i used was wrong for the wideband i had.

    Glad to hear you got it sorted out. Still courious about the setup though.

    its a trickflow headed lq4 with custom turbo cam and a b/w s480. E-85 on 5 lbs of boost went a best of 9.87 at 156 last friday on a conservitate tune. 5500+ DA. A1000 pump/reg, semins 80LB injectors and 80% D/C on a ngk 7 plug gapped at .030
