    Default cant read e38

    I'm new to the chevy side of efilive. I'm trying to read an 08 silverado and i keep getting $0101 (no data received) Any help would be appreciated.

    What are you using, V7.5, V8, FSV2, AutoCal? (Im betting V8/V2/AC based on that error.)

    Easiest thing to do is use V8 S&T like you would for a Cummins, except click Auto Detect to determine what the controllers are. Then you can read them out. If it's a Duramax, should be E35B LMM and A40 Allison.

    yeah v8/fsv2. I used the auto detect and when i try and read it out it give me that error. also as soon as I hook up to the obd2 on this truck I get service 4wd, service stabilatrc, service airbag. is that normal?

    Do you have latest versions (including flash and BBx config files)...?

    make sure if it has a camand start to uplug the fuses for it -happens lots where ls1 will not talk
