Default Looking for 03-05 4.8/5.3 tune

I am looking for a factory tune for an 03-05, I just need a base to revert my 06 to so I can start with to build a turbo tune, if someone already has a good turbo tune I would be much appreciative to get one as well. I have an 06 silverado, 4.8, 5 speed, custom built forward mount turbo, 2 bar map and 56# injectors if that helps any. thanks.

I have a 2004, 4.8, 5sp, DBW stock calibration. If you use it---The first thing I would do is make sure the DBW works. Just to make sure the 04 tune is compatible with the 06 DBW components.

Hi Jeff ... good thought process ... these are not compatible.

With Sierra / Silverado .... 2003 to 2005 used "common" DBW components and PCM calibrations ... 2006 & 2007 are also "common" to each other ... however these two groups are not cross compatible.

    Cheers,

Hhmmm, I didn't think they were but, wasn't sure. He asked for an 03-05 and the 04 that I have seemed to be the closest to his setup.

    Thanks Taz.

I'm not sure what the exact intent is either ... in the original post it mentions looking for an 03-05, but also mentions reverting an '06.

Your 2004 tune would work with the 2003-2005 (with some changes), but would not work with a 2006.

Yes, in order to put a cos into an 06 you need to swap the accelerator pedal, wires and tac module to an 03-05 then download the older program. I got this info from black bear performance who contacted me after emailing efi live with my issue.

Thanks for that tune Jeff, can anyone tell me where to start or how to tune in larger injectors? Going from stock to 56 pound. Thanks, Eldon.
