Default Trouble writing vin in tune

I'm trying to flash in a tune and vin is all 0's how do I change it so the PCM contains the proper vin again? I changed it in the "home screen" when you first open the tune and flashed it in, but when I pull the tune back out if just shows all 0's still....

    Thanks for the help.

Use the scantool to write the VIN... goto the DVT tab.

Select the TCM instead of the PCM/ECM when connecting to a controller in V7.5 Tune. Open a tune, click Flash->Configure PCM security and connect to the TCM.

You still have to use V7.5 for the Scan tool and Tune tool currently, you need both V7.5 and V8 installed.

No, 1 VIN license gives you:
    1 PCM/ECM license
    1 TCM license

If you only tune PCMs, you will have extra TCM licenses available that you can use on any supported vehicle (i.e. a PCM/ECM license does not have to be used in the same vehicle as a TCM license).
