I'm going to attempt to change a vin number on an e54 LB7. I was wondering if this can be done via passthrough with the v7.5 scan tool via bi-directional controls?? Has anyone tried this before?

Yes, AutoCal's function identically to a V2 in the V7.5 Scan Tool software. Connect everything, open V7.5 Scan, connect to the desired controller, then change the VIN.

2008 TrailBlazer SS 3SS AWD Summit White - LS2 E67/T42, bolt ons, suspension, etc.
2002 Chevy TrailBlazer LT 4X4 Summit White - 4.2L I6 P10, lifted, wheels, etc.
Ok, well it tries to connect but will only verifies the first segment of the vin (1GCHK) and then stops.
