Default 2011 Camaro 6l80 to 4l80 swap w vvt... questions

We are converting an 11 to a 4l80, just wondering what can be done to tell the PCM it is a man trans (to keep the bus from getting confused looking for a tcm and neutral safety etc)

Do I write a new man trans file and enable the VVT or stick with stock file and modify it somehow??? I am not finding ANY trans reference items in the PCM therefore I believe I will try the man trans cal idea...

    thanks

I haven't tuned a 2011, but my coworkers 2010 A6 car has the same OS as my 2010 M6 car, the only thing I'd be worried about is if enabling VVT properly requires access to more tables/settings/constants than you have access to...I don't think it does, but I don't know. I certainly don't think you'd cause a problem going to a file from an M6 car from the same year...but then you'll need to disable the clutch pedal starter check. I also think you need to get a VSS signal into the computer.
