    Default Todays Questions!

    Onto the Trans,

    1) How do I go about keeping the Converter locked at WOT in 3rd and 4th?
    I have a Multiplate Circle D that's TCC is meant to be good to 1000+rwhp (my combo won't be anywhere near this)

    2) For the Dyno how do I prevent it kicking down, I know DVT/Bidirectional is an option but it's proved to be problematic in the past so I'd like to build a Dyno only file so I can just ignore Auto shifting and use the lever

    3) While I'm doing my OL SD Tuning I have the MAF Failed but it's still generating Data on my BEN Maps, is it ok to use this for the MAF Calibration?

    I have "ideas" how to do all this but have proven myself wrong in the past so prefer to throw it open here and get a consensus instead of "guessing" that it might be right ..

    TIA guys

    Look at D3204,5 and D4204,5.

    For example: when VSS goes above D3204 during WOT, the TCC locks; and if VSS falls below D3205 during WOT, the TCC unlocks;

    so you have to set D3204 to an achieveable 3rd gear speed, and you have to set D3205 to be below that (say at least 5 or 10 mph lower);

    the values you use are found in your TCC Apply/Release tables (3rd gear, 4th gear);

    and set your TCC Throttle release tables to 100% everywhere.

    Thanks Joe, so would I set the part throttle Lock to slightly lower than the WOT setting in D3204 and D4204?

    Default Todays Questions!

    Check out post #11. I did a semi brief write up that covers a lot more than your asking about, but it's the process I follow. Hopefully it helps

    This is the Dyno file to prevent it kicking down

    Would welcome a critique just in case I've got anything wrong
    (edit) This one works, a bit Fugly though

    You can set D3204 and D4204 to the same value as the 100% cell of the corresponding PT lock table.

    See what Wheelz said in that thread that he linked in post #4 above.
