E40 Case Issue

I ran into an E40 LS2 with a T56, it is a swapped engine with custom harness. I can not get it to perform a CASE learn. I can see we are getting the correct brake signal, I just get a error when I hit begin. The temp is in the correct range. Is there another parameter I am missing? Does the clutch need to be depressed as well? I have been searching for a few hours now and have found nothing recent in regards to an E40.

Needs the handbrake on as well. And that sig is via the BCM/CAN to the ECM. So.......no CASE learn.

So, he requires a compatible BCM (with connection to hand/parking brake switch).

Or some way of getting the right message on the CAN for the CASE learn. Maybe EFILive team could add this in to the Scantool.

Dang, I was hoping that was not the case. Thanks for the info.

I also had a go at it with a tech2 and nada.
