    Default Going into Closed Loop...

I searched all around for this, but may be using the wrong terms.

How do you know when the PCM goes into closed loop? Is there an indicator (pid) you can log for that?

Thanks... I have LOTS TO LEARN, but searching this day in day out!

The PCM will run the engine in open loop until the engine comes up to the set temperature. Once that is reached it will go into closed loop and this can be monitored with your O2 sensors. When the O2 sensor voltages start to cycle up and down then the PCM is in closed loop. Or you can just look up when it will occur in the tune and monitor the temperature and when it heats to that temperature the PCM will switch to closed loop.
