The ONLY way I know to clear a DPF Plugged message is with dealer tool....

So Les, what your saying is once that plugged message pops it needs to see a service regen or something equivalent to clear? This would make sense because nothing I have done on this truck has worked.

i have seen this before as well. i had to install stock file so all modules were enabled again, then blew deleted file back in.

That has been my experience...once plugged dpf has been triggered only a dealer tool can clear it. Maybe installing stock then going back works...but it has not been in my experience thus far.

I decline tuning on trucks that are plugged until it's cleared...it just creates massive headaches

We are heading over this afternoon to flash it back to 100% stock, drive it for about 10 mins then flash in the tune again. If this doesnt work then the truck will have to go to the dealer to be factory reset.

Good news, flashing a 100% stock file in the truck and driving it for 10 mins before flashing in the deleted tunes fixed the overhead issues altogether.

i never had to drive them after flashing stock file in. just back to stock then modded file back in. re enabling the can messaging i think is the key.

hey guys also if cyndy can please read this she can help me, i have a c and c truck, i flashed one of the star lite diesel tunes drive for 10 min and throws exhaust filter plugged, but throws no codes to ecm, or tcm, please help tryied with smarty, race me and still have same issue.
