Plx sm-afr v2 serial mods
Hi guys,
I am trying to mod my plx and add a max3232 card so i can lod via serial on my v2. I have seen plenty of pics of old plx afr's modded but none that look like mine. Does anyone know where i need to solder on this card? Need the tx, 0v and v+

Update: Serial modification done and it works a treat. Compared serial to analogue and its bang on. Also compared the PLX to an Innovate and they are the same.

( I couldn't find the thread here that showed how to add the serial comms mod, but it should be pretty straightforward )
Now that I said that, it seems now (today) I'm easily bumping into that thread

I think my PLX must be the latest generation maybe v3? Mine has a lot different pcb installed but either way I got it going. I used some info off that thread in regards to the TX and 0v .
V3 has serial output and serial input....
Very intriguing system..... I mainly like their new DM6... might make the jump if i can correctly hook it up to the V2.
