    Default E39 V6 Alloytec SIDI LF1/LFW/LFX throttle max %

dear forum please confirm what sort of Throttle Postions u have got on your E39 v6 SIDI

after full dyno tune i still am only getting 84% max throttle at even 6,000+RPM and the low RPM with foot acc pedal 100% throttle is average 60%

i am read up yes about the new updates for throttle vs RPM tables also understand its a Manifold Map KPA issues that cause not 100% open throttle when desired

just courious what you all have got your max throttle at on a daily driven tune

On your engine the ECM limits throttle by a target MAP value, if it sees 100kPa then it won't open the throttle any more. If the MAP is reading 100kPa (give or take a few kPa) then opening the throttle more isn't going to do much in terms of power but it allows GM to have the throttle open just enough to get max MAP.

i understand what u mean but for reffece what does your LFW engine get max throttle above 84% when needed?
    3L SIDI V6 LF1 VE Wagon 145 rwkw @ 6,600RPM (84% open throttle)
    6.8L per 100km average speed 100km/h
1/4 mile time 15.7 seconds @ 91mph (6speed auto ve wagon model car)

84% is max throttle when using the SAE TPS PID. From memory it is because 0-100% is actually scaled to 0-5V and full open isn't quite 5V

kangsta is correct, its been that way for a long time, same thing happens on the E38 ECM used on the V8 Commodores.
From memory also, the throttle limiting at low RPM's has never been active on the Holden, just that target MAP thing.
You should be happy with that RWKW figure, that is pretty decent for a little 3.0L V6.
