Cant get V8 Scan to connect

I havnt used my efilive in quite a while, but have now fitted a supercharger so need to get cracking with some logging. I flashed a new basetune from my tuner, but I cannot get the logging to work.
Ive Opened the PID list in v7.5 but my flashscan will not connect as I have upgraded it. It says to use v8.

I cant see how I open the same PID list in v8, or how to get a connection. I have clicked on "connect to flashscan" but I don't get any live data. The usual connect buttons seem to be greyed out, and I cannot click them.

Any guidance? Its for a 02 Holden LS1

Did you also update the V2 bootblock/firmware...?
