    Default LS7 Fuel Injectors

    Anyone play with these yet?

I was browsing thru ls1tech and read they flow between 39-42 lbs/hr and require electrical adapters. Otherwise they seemed like a cool idea because they will have* a known IFR and IOS table...

(As soon as we get to see the tune )

I had a set of LS2 injectors briefly. They are the same size but 32#vs42# and use same connector. I concluded it was not worth it. The electrical is one thing and they are different length plus bottom o-ring is different dia. I caved and went to SVOs. which are peachy.

They are 32# at 4 bar. Different then an 30# or 32# SVO injector which is a lot larger at LSx 4 bar pressures.

Hmm, LS7 injectors 42lb at 4 bar... who's got a copy of the LS7 table?

hmm? svo 30s are only 34.6# at 4bar... so the vette is doing 500hp on injectors smaller than svo 30s? ouch, i will have to eat a lot of my previous words on injector capacities....
however, as always TAquickness gets props for quick thinking on his feet. go with the known/oem is always a good policy, let them do the legwork

I think the injectors mentioned were ls2 6L rather than ls7's 7L RHS

either way, it would be nice to have a set of injectors with known calibration tables

    Yes, but same configuration:

TAQuickness, you are my inspriation! as i'm falling asleep yesterday, I thought the same damn thing, and then it hits me:
these SVO injectors have to come from somewhere, they gotta be 'stock/known' in some sort of setup. so could someone please figure out what car the 42s come in stock, and then 'hop the fence' to a ford site/get ford tuning software and liberate some numbers for us?
we could really use the rated pressure/voltage offsets to be a solved issue...
