Hey guys,
Iam after a suckout from a T42/4L80E equipped 2007 2WD truck, ideally OS 24239036 or 24239927. 4WD cal may work. Anyone help out?
Hey guys,
Iam after a suckout from a T42/4L80E equipped 2007 2WD truck, ideally OS 24239036 or 24239927. 4WD cal may work. Anyone help out?
The 2007 model year T42s started out with OS24235341. Some of the 4L60/65/70 calibrations were updated to OS24239036, and then OS24239927 (which was used in the 2008 model year). I have never seen a 2007 4L80 T42 calibration with anything other than OS24235341.
A little more information about your project, and why you want this specific OS, may lead to some suggestions ...
Taz, I was trying to help out HOWQUICK as well and I had several T42 OS's of 24239036 from 2007 trucks, but all 4L60E.
What doesn't make sense about what you wrote is 24235341 is a 2006/2007 OS, 24239036 is a 2007/2008 OS. Normally GM's TIS updates would not jump from one year to the next, but, I don't have a vast collection of T42 files so I am happy to stand corrected there.
I understand the project they are working on and I won't say much because it's not my place to, but having either of those two OS's is going to make life much easier to integrate to a base T42 tune they are already using.
But if you are saying that the 4L80E never came out with anything other than 24235341 then that is what he is stuck with I guess.
I no longer monitor the forum, please either post your question or create a support ticket.
Hi Ross,
I queried some 2007 truck VINs via TIS2WEB - and that was the result. Some continued to use their original T42 OS24235341 (no update), and others were updated to 24239036, and some others were updated to 24239927.
The pattern seemed to be that the 2007 4L60/65/70 were updated, while the 2007 4L80 was not.
I'm not saying there isn't an updated calibration for a 2007 4L80 - just commenting that I have never seen one.
Going to need more information to assist further.
Cheers,
Taz
OK ... sounds like you have a very specific calibration in mind ... I would suggest you download the specific calibration you want via TIS2WEB
Maybe a list of what to suck it out of could get your more help
If I have one laying around I'be be glad to. Though not sure if I do.
.... SUCKOUT!!!
