Bootloader Rejected

I can't read an e38 with my v2, but my friend can read it with his v2 set up the same. any help would be appreciated.

try to read it with V8

Did you setup the BBx config for this...?

(i.e. start V8 S&T, goto BBx, goto Tune tab, does list of ECM's mention E38...? And if it does, did you flash this into your V2...?)

yes I did set up the BBx config for e38. In V8 this is what I get

And windows gives me a connected device not responding message
