    Default Maf scaling

I searched and was surprised I didn't find anything in the search?

If I wanted to install a LS7 Slot Style Maf into a Camaro/Trans Am with 0411 PCM, how would i properly re-scale the Gen4 Maf to work properly in EFILive? If this is all ready a write up somewhere can someone post a link to said write up, Please?

    thanks guys.

You would have to correct the MAF table by doing AutoMAF or Calc.VET using a wideband.

I wouldnt have to rescale the HZ load, just tune the curve like normal?

If you can interpolate the Hz scale to fit the LS1 MAF table (requires some math software), then go ahead and do it, but you'll still need to correct/tune it

( the main reason being that your MAF plumbing has it's own characteristics which are different from other vehicles, and which usually will affect how the MAF behaves )

Id use the f-body IAT sensor, the LS7 one has a different scaling and EFILive IIRC doesnt have the IAT scaler table to change it.

I had to scale the LS7 MAF on my turbo 98 TA....but it was the entire tune that had to be scaled, not just the MAF.

    You do this:
    - disable VE (set B0120 to zero).
    - disable CL/LTFT/STFT (B3801, B4205, B4206), and SOL if you're running a COS (B3647, B3649).
    - set PE safely rich (B3618), and make sure it enables suitably (B3616) .
    - log wideband lambda.
    - create MAF map of BEN (e.g. BEN pid = "{EXT.WO2LAM1}*{GM.EQIVRATIO}").
    - apply low cell count filter and throttle transient filter.
    - multiply BEN map into MAF table B5001.
    - extrapolate/smooth B5001 to cover un-hit portions of table (should look look like x^4 polynomial curve).
