Default I just recently purchased Flashscan V2

I am having trouble, when I plug the controller in to the truck, then plug it in to the laptop. The connection between the controller and the OBD cable, it has a short, either in the controller or the cable. What do I need to do to get this taken care of?

What does it do (how are you determining it has a short)...?

When I hook it to the truck the unit keeps turning on and off, if you move the connector, it starts to work again. It's like it is loosing connection at the unit.

Maybe not a short, but a bad connection at the flashscan.
