Default Stall Converter unlocks when cruise is enabled.

    Hi All,

I have a Holden Commodore VY SS with an LS1 and 4L60e. Problem is I can't work out why my converter won't lock in cruise mode. I can be in either Normal or
Performance mode with the converter locked but as soon as I engage cruise control it unlocks the converter, then as soon as i disengage the cruise control it will
lock straight back up. Any ideas would be great.

    Regards Jeff

Check the Cruise columns in the TCC apply/release tables...

in each table make the Cruise column the same as the Normal column and try it out.

Sorry for the delayed reply. Thanks for the suggestion Joecar, No joy though. I made my cruise tables the same as normal mode and still it wont let or keep the converter locked in cruise mode. Any one had this issue before. The PCM is controlled by EFI Live OS5.

Set the TCC Throttle Release tables to all 100% (otherwise these will interfere with the part throttle TCC apply/release tables).

I would also set the Throttle Kickdown tables to all 100% (to avoid interfering with the PT up/down shift tables).

Look at the TSTATEnn pids (do rightclick->More Info on each) and log the one(s) that show TCC unlock reason.
