    Default Help please

    I am trying to get set up to data log, if I understand right I pick my ECM and TCM from the list in the upper left hand box. This populates the right hand box with my PIDs, I then drag the PIDs I want to log into the lower left hand box to load into my V2. OK good so far now the problem I am having is it will not let me load them because it says it needs 140% of the avalible memory, I have gone into the V2 and erased the data in it and it showes empty so I should have enough room. I have read the manual and looked through the forum and can't figure it out Help please.

    Are you using the V2's internal flash memory to store the ECM/pidlist...?

    If so, you need an external SD card (plugs into SD slot in top of V2)... and you need to tell V2 to use the external SD card.

    Yes I have figured that part out, the problem I was having was I had all the DTC discriptions turned on. I got the PIDs loaded and did some data logging, now I am trying to figure out how to view the logs.

    Start V8 EFILive Explorer, goto the Scan tab, click Home (observe which folder upper pane positions itself on), drag log files from lower pane (V2) to upper pane (PC/laptop); [ then, also, delete log files from lower pane ]... exit when done;

    and then use V7 scantool or V8 scantool to view logs on PC/laptop.
