Would lowering B1115 values in the idle range cause lope or any other undesirable effect?

My truck is an LBZ ZF6 with a DD clutch and I am looking for a way to allow the engine rpm to fall when letting the clutch out. I find it compensates for the increased engine load instantly. I am thinking along the lines of how an old mechanical diesel would bog down to the 500 RPM range when starting off. I think this would make things a bit smoother. I have dropped the idle RPM down a bit In the operating ECT range but that doesn’t help me when the engine is colder where I don’t want to lower the RPM too much.
