dsp5 not switching
I am working on an o4 lb7 and efi has been on it for over a year. It only switches from dsp3 to dsp4. Top 2 positions are 4 and bottom 3 are on 3. Voltages are changing but tunes are not. Also getting a bootloader error with no codes on v7..5 when i try to read but i can read and flash with v8. Ive always been able to use v7.5 before and i checked another truck to make sure the software was functioning right and it worked just fine. Any help greatly appreciated.
Do you have the tune you can post up that you put into the truck?

Yeah i also failed to mention that the voltage changes are not what is programmed it ranges from .50v to 1.27v. I havent messed with it much since because it is still driveable
That would be your problem. The volts for each tune should be what's suggested.

What causes the voltages to be different the ecm, the switch, or the wiring or should i change my voltage parameters to match what my actual readings are
The switch changes the volts. Change the tune to reflect the suggested volts for each tune.

Ill try that and see what happens. It just seems odd that it worked for a year and now it doesnt. Thanks for the help i will let you know if that fixes it
I changed voltages in v7.5 went to reflash in v8 because v7.5 hasnt been working on this truck got to attempt 10 0f10 and it said unknown status and no data received popped up on screen. Now truck will not start and lost communication with ecm. IS it recoverable because it was only about 15 seconds into full flash procedure when it did this didnt think it should be unrecoverable that quickly tried reflashing several times with same result.
