Default T43 TCM code $06FF: checksum failure

working on a XJ cherokee with a 08 5.3L 6L80E, dont know what year is the trans, i tried to load the stock tune and it say that it had a invalid calibration, i still read it, but didnt have VIN number and it looks like the tune was broken or something, so i took the OS (24239353) searched for a T43 stock tune on tunefiledepot and tried to do a FULLFLASH with the new base stock tune and when finish it says: code $06FF: checksum failure

Any help? i dont want to swap the TCm,trans already has OIL

Operating System 24239353 $5D3F6A7D Checksum invalid.
    Transmission Operation 24244575 $09993A2D
    Transmission Diagnostics 24245507 $0AB96316
    System 24239147 $EDFBB7ED Checksum invalid.

Your files are no good, as you can see the software is telling you the checksums are bad, the flash will not be allowed to complete if you try to put that tune in.
That tune BTW is from around 2007/2008 so you are on the right track with finding the correct tune file to use.

thanks for the help, that tune i atached is the one i read from the T43 TCM, it was like that when i started to work on this truck,, i used the OS and searched for tunes with the same OS and when tried to do a fullflash using V8 when finish flashing it it says about the checksum failure, im afraid that someone tried to do a flash with TIS and flashed and older calibration and thats why its like that, what i should do?

That is the case, your TCM is supposed to be running an OS from 2010 or later, the 24239353 is from 2007. You will need to find a suitable file (or VIN for TIS) to put the correct year OS in.

    Default Same Problem

GXP_T43.ctzI am having the same problem. I recently purchased a G8 GXP OS 24249179 and wanted to return to stock since I was unsure of the modifications done to the tune. So, I read the file, saved it, then changed some settings to match a stock Camaro since I could not find a stock GXP T43 tune and saved it with a different name. Upon flashing I got the $06FF error and was only able to have 3rd gear. I tried flashing the original file back with no avail. Tune is attached:

That is not a stock tune, it has been altered by another tuning program (I suspect LS2 Edit) and they've messed with the checksums to disguise the tune. But I don't have an exact match tune for you to try sorry.

Ok, I will try to get my buddy to see if he can flash with HPT. I really hate to take it to the dealership, but with this it is in limp mode so I am dead in the water.
