    Default E38 Injector tuning help

    2011 Camaro, my first E38 tune and I am already confused. Delta? is there a spreadsheet or a formula? I searched but I have not found a wealth of information on this, I am trying to tune 80 lb siemens, any direction would be helpful.

    You mean DeltaMAP...?

    DeltaMAP is simply the pressure difference between top of injector and bottom of injector (i.e. rail absolute pressure minus manifold absolute pressure).

    If your rail pressure is 58 psi (400 kPa) (gauge), then:
    rail absolute pressure = 500 kPa (absolute)...
    manifold absolute pressure = 100 kPa (absolute) at WOT, 35 kPa (absolute) at idle...
    so then deltaMAP ranges from 400 kPa (WOT) to 465 kPa (idle).

    Thanks Joecar, helpful as always...... I was able to get them installed..... Now getting my head around VVE tuning.....lol Geezzz
