    Default PID's won't stay Validated

I have a problem that my PID's wont stay validated for my V1 cable. I remember only having to Validate PID's only once...but now, I need to connect to my car every time first, before I can load PID's into my cable for BB logging. PS. the last version I remember using six years ago was version EFI live, 7.0, and I didn't have to connect to my car first...back the I remember just connecting my V1 cable to my laptop and uploading the PID's without having to connect to the car first. PS. I also have to keep selecting my PCM model every time I connect to the vehicle even though I selected the, I believe It was "Not See this again" prompt box when selecting the PCM. Is there something I'm doing wrong here...should I go back to an earlier version of EFI Live?
    Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply Blacky...I have one more question to make sure I understand correctly (Its very late for me). Do I have to install BOTH V7.5 and V8 software packages even though I only have the V1 cable?

No, just the V7.5 if you have the V1.

The reasons for installing the V8 software at the moment is for read/flash support for late model CAN controllers, which V1 does not support and for the latest V2 firmware updates, which is not relevant for V1.

Awesome...that's what I thought, but wasn't sure, since this link instructed me to download both. I downloaded the newest software version of 7.5 from your link. I will try this again today and let you know how it goes.

    Thanks.
