    Default lmm zf6 swap questions

I'm getting serious about swapping my Allison for a zf6. I've figured out that everything should bolt up fine. My questions are what to do electronically. Do I leave the TCM hooked up? Can I tune out the TCM and remove it? Are there other issues that could happen?

If you have Push button 4x4 your best bet is going to be leave the TCM hooked up and just tie the NBSU switch to the frame or somewhere out of the way but make sure the nbsu is set to neutral, so put the truck in neutral before you start working on it and everything should work correctly including you 4x4. if you delete the tcm and nbsu, you will lose the ability to use 4-lo.
