    Default lmm tuning

I've been playing around with my efi live for some time now. I got a couple of tunes , low HP tunes to look over and try to learn. I guess this stuff is not for me because every time I look it over it all looks the same. I've been trying to make a tow tune with turbo brake with around 60 to 70 HP. Would anyone have a tune like this you would share to help give me a hand.

Do you just want a copy of a towing tune?
Do you want to learn how to make your own tune?

In either case, you need to be able to scan and record engine data.

I have a copy of a towing tune that i would like to make changes to. I've been comparing it with my stock tune to learn off of. The timing tables are a moto. I'm trying to make a good tow tune with decent mpg. With low egts.

    Never was trained but

Transition tables are effective when pulling
Low med high are used during light cruise
My altitude is between low and med
Both low and med tables control my cruise timing

If you add timing, then temperature tables need some reduction in timing to compensate

This is for LB7/LLY but it can still be used for an LMM, the table addresses and scaling are different. http://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35 Hunt around and find yourself the excel spreadsheet for making a timing table based off duration and rail pressure.

From there, you need to look at how the tables reference each other. If you notice in the stock tune, the ECM does not use all the available data in the tables at full throttle. Easy power on top there.
