Can someone please help me. I have a 4l80e swap and have to change to an os with a 4180e segment. I can not find any infromation on how to swap OS's please someone point me in the right direction.

Easiest path will be to upgrade to an 02 OS and seg swap an 80E segment in.
To upgrade OSs, go to TuneFileDepot.com and download the 1999 Camaro tune that has the blue I next to it, 1 is auto 1 is manual. It is an 02 OS with all the 99 values in. Download an 02 truck OS with the 4L80E and seg swap the 80E trans and trans diagnostics segments in.
Then copy or script your tune into the engine part, the trans tune will need to be redone. Full flash the tune into your PCM and repin as necessary to run the 80E.

Old thread, but I am in need of a 4L80e segment for this OS as well. We are dealing with a modified 5.3/4l60e that was previouly tuned, it now has a trans swap. I would really like to just swap the trans segment, the vehicle isn't in house to retune with a different OS. Thanks.
