Saved tune in v8 now won't load in v7
I downloaded a tune from a stock lmm 2007 and wanted to open it up in the v7.5 tune program just to snoop around and it won't even find the file to open it.
Is there a program or converter to allow the tunes saved in a v8 to beable to be loaded in the v7.5?
Do you have matching installs for both V8 and V7 ? In otherwords you can't have an old version of V7 installed if you have a newer version of V8.

Anybody know why I downloaded a lmm diesel tune using v8 saved it and it will not open in v7.5 it actually won't even pop up in the folder as if it was wrong file type
You downloaded it as in 'read from the truck' or a file you found on the internet?

Is the file type .tun or .ctd or .ctz...?
I downloaded and saved it from the vehicle itself. I'll let you know file type it saved as in a few mins when I arrive to work

You will need a later version of V7 tunetool... try this: Update-Oct-5-2014
( you will need to updater both V7 and V8... and also V2 firmware... and also V2 BBx configuration )
