I'm aware of that and I don't think it would run so great if they were crossed. Cyls 2 and 3 are also swapped and they don't produce any misfires.

Ya, I didn't see your other post until after I commented. The only reason I brought it up is that I have seen other people not have the firing order correct on the 24x deal.

I just changed the misfire tables of the 5.3 to match my old 5.7 tune. I'm hoping they are just false misfires (I can't feel them). The 5.3 has smaller values in the tables and has a greater range of them. Maybe the 5.3 misfire table is fine tuned to its cam profile (114lsa compared to the 111lsa of the Vortec 5.7)? But only misfiring in two cylinders and not all of them? But cylinders 4 and 7 are references from the same spot on the reluctor wheel, correct?
I was thinking of the firing orders
18436572 5.7
18726543 5.3
Two crank revolutions to light all cylinders and cyl 7 fires on the third quarter of full crank revolution. Cyl 4 fires on the same spot next time the crank goes around. Same spot on the crank is initiating that spark, right?
Pcm thinks it's firing cyl 7 but inj and coul are wired to cyl 4. Same goes with cyl 2 and 3.
Interesting. Fuel gauge works fine. Just now and then it will go to empty on decel but then come back up
Now that I have this conversion done and everything seems to be running smooth (misfiring sorted out, just bumped the mid values about 75%), can I now run the 5.3 spark tables since I am (assuming) capable of a little more timing with CNP setup?
Does your gas gauge work properly now?
