    Default newbie here with a program question.

    I have a 2003 GMC C4500 with a 8.1l & Allison trans. This is the error message I get when trying to tune it.

    How could I tune a 2001 gm truck with the same engine but not this one. HELP PLEASE !

    I've ran across this before. First make sure efi live is up to date. If so, just do as the screen says. Email it to support. It just means the os in that pcm isn't in the list yet. Normally takes a few days but they will send you the calibration file for it and your good to go. I see this a lot with 4 cylinder stuff.

    The other time you can get this error is if you have wrong controller selected when trying to read. Your screenshot shows LS1B controller selected, does your vehicle use this controller?

    Yes, the only controller I see is a LS1B. That is what mine looks like. Is there another that looks the same ? the PCM IS 411

    Did you do Help->Register EFILive and enter the details from the blue card that came with...?

    You should re-install the software (actually, download the Oct 28th software and install it).

    Ok, reloaded the software. Still the same problem. And yes it is a LS1B PCM
