    Go Start->All Programs->EFILive->V8->Driver Manager

    Edit: it should actually read like this:
    Go Start->All Programs->EFILive->V8->EFILive USB Manager

    and click the button to install the older FTI USB driver.

    I get the same error message when trying to install for the first time on my laptop running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. I tried V7.5 and V8 and both will not install the driver. I tried to manually uninstall the driver but that did not work either. I tried what you said above but there is no driver manager under the V8 or V7.5 folder. Please help!

    It is called: EFILive USB Manager

    Have you tried it...?

    Also, are you logged in as Admin when you install...?

    Sounds like there is a problem with your Windows OS install... did you register it with a proper unused Windows key...?
