Default Inserting a flag when data logging

When I first started learning about EFILive, I thought I read or heard that you could insert a flag while pass through data logging with a keystroke. Three years later as I'm trying to do more data logging, I can't find anything about it. Does a way to insert a flag actually exist or am I crazy?

Pressing the keys 0 thru 9 inserts notes (Notes 0 thru 9).
