Default Buying Flashscan V2 from friend.

I have an opportunity to buy an EFILive Flashscan V2 from a friend.

What does he need to do so I can add licenses under my email?

    Thanks
    Ray

    Hi Ray,

You will need his software license (see Help->Register).

Also, the V2 stores his PCM/ECM licenses, so either you will need new licenses for your PCM/ECM or you will need his PCM/ECM.

Just so I'm clear, if I buy a used unit with its blue license card I'll just need to buy my own $125 Flashscan VIN license http://www.efilive.com/licenses/tuni...v2-vin-license and not the $450 GM tuning option http://www.efilive.com/licenses/tuni...-tuning-option

The unit I'm looking at was used on a duramax diesel if that matters, I have a Corvette.
